That does look interesting! It's been a long while since I've played FFVI--maybe I'll be giving it another go again soon. :)

I'm curious as to how it's going to be set up; I'm not sure how/if a randomizing factor will be in there but I kind of hope so --?

Oh man this sounds great! I haven't played FFVI in forever. I'll have to keep an eye on this!

I hope so, too; randomization is great! It seems like a lot of the fun of this challenge would be in being forced to use characters and abilities you wouldn't use so much in a normal runthrough of the game. (Though having Umaro and Gogo picked randomly as two of your characters might make things kind of tricky, since you don't get them until the WoR.)

The event is live! My party is Terra, Cyan, Gau and Strago.

Strago sounds useless, since we can't use magic. I'm excited to get Gau, he'll probably be good. I also am looking forward to getting more familiar with Cyan. I haven't used him a lot in previous plays.
