Hellos everyone! I'm new to this community and to Dreamwidth, so I guessed I could come out and say hi.

How you got into the FF games: I simply blame Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children. I accidentally rented it, and oh well, been into Final Fantasy's ever since. Haven't played enough games, but I'm on my way.
Fave female char: Now that's a hard one, I haven't really liked any of them so much. Lulu.
Fave male char: Though cookie. Really though. I guess I'd go for Genesis for the time being, such a lovable asshole.
Fave all time char: Can't pick one, sowwy. :(

Hello, and welcome! I'm an old fan of FFVII (played it when it was new), so I'm always happy when new people realise how good it is, haha. And Advent Children was awesome. ^_^

Otherwise I've only played VI-X and XII (and still working on finishing XII), so I'm by no means a Final Fantasy veteran. My favourites are VII and IX.

I probably love Freya most of the female characters. Or possibly Fran. I like most of them, so it's not that easy to choose, heh.

When it comes to male characters though, I adore Cloud, and I don't think anybody else can compare! I loved how he looked in AC too, they'd updated his character design so that it was still obviously him, but in a more realistic style. Awesome. He's both my favourite male character and favourite all time character, no contest. XD

I haven't played more than the first few minutes of Crisis Core yet, but I heard that Gackt does Genesis voice, and I'm not really a fan of Gackt. But I'll try not to judge him too hard!

Hmm, Rufus/Tseng isn't really my pairing, but I'll probably swing by your Dwdth later to check it out anyway. This fandom needs more fic! (And icons. I can't believe I have no FF icons!)
