So how does everyone feel about this? A project of this magnitude with such a beloved source material has the potential to be amazing or a complete disaster. I'm totally on board at this point but what about you guys?

I want to see it -- the level of oh gawd what have they done is going to depend entirely on how much Compilation they shove in it, I'm not going to lie.

I've been waiting for this for years--I never played FFVII back in the day, and right when I was thinking of playing it for the first time, SE announced the remake. That does mean I don't have any beloved past experiences to be let down on...but I'm still hyped.
