Final Fantasy XVI announced!

It’s single player action based. I’m kind of nervous about the action based aspect, as I’m only so-so at those games. But still, I am very excited and screamed when I saw the logo confirming the title.

My first reaction was that other than the combat it looks like it could be an FFXIV expansion, but since FFXIV has been during on all cylinders lately that's a really good thing!

And I’m stoked for a return to medieval Final Fantasy. Crystals, summons, swords, angry chocobos...give it to me 😍

I'm a XIV player but have only played through Stormblood so far, but I am absolutely in love with the game. I hope to get to Shadowbringers soon, because I've heard it's amazing.

Yes, I too am pleased that it appears to be a return to a medieval setting. A lot of folks seemed to be wanting that as well, so hopefully it will make the fanbase happy!
