I got in! The CBT is on a lotto system, so I've had my fingers crossed for weeks. IIRC it's a "don't share too much"-type CBT but I'll share what I can. ^_^

I'm sure vague commentary like what story modes are available initially would be fine, though --

Yeah, we'll see what the instructions are in-game. FFVIIFS was a free-for-all, Octopath had instructions not to spoil past a certain plot point/chapter, etc.

I mean honestly -- for EC-VII itself at least -- what could possibly be a spoiler? We all know the story, and a game mechanic overview shouldn't be too much ...

They might be cagey about any parts of the new story segments though, if those are in the CBT. That could be part of it.

Yeah, really gonna have to wait and see what the instructions are. I can't imagine they won't have some sort of new stuff in there, though, since that's a chunk of the draw? IDK.

I'm going to bet on that, if they've put in any of the new story in CBT, it's going to be the parts with the nobs based on the First SOLDIER trailer models.

There's not a chance in hell they're going to put ~the secrets around Sephiroth~ in a beta, nosir.
