so I'm thinking of hacking together a pocket-sized trpg for Final Fantasy

By which I mean the original one -- you know, Final Fantasy ;3~ I'll be using The Black Hack, which is one of the simplest iterations on the D&D/d20 chassis out there, and it's pretty much a case of "I wonder if I can do this thing". I don't have any further plans for it really, lol.

The magical question is ...

So is this a thing we'll be able to play online with each other or is it more of like, just kinda seeing if you can do it? Because dude, no lie, I would be 100% down with playing FF DnD with y'all, just sayin'. :3

*grin* as rambled above, atm it's just a "can I do this thing" kind of project (although I've tinkered with TBH before) -- I have no idea if this will actually fly, let alone be considered playable by other people, lol.

I think I'd have to reserve judgement on playing/running a game online until I know wee things like whether I actually finish (or start!) the thing. It's better not to make promises I don't know if I can keep ;3

It's also worth noting that The Black Hack, and especially 1e TBH which is what I'm using, is very minimal compared to, say, actual 5e D&D and the like; it'd probably go smoothly enough online, but it doesn't bring the crunch a lot of folks like to the table.
