It wouldn't be the first time for Squenix to have to do a rebuild; that's what they had to do with the first Kingdom Hearts when they started upscaling those to HD. *lol Squenix* if they could lose those assets, they could totally have tossed VIII's --
There's been enough outcry at the lack of a rerelease for them to deem it viable I guess :D
