well, it took me forever but I did it
It's still a fanwork, just a somewhat different kind than often gets posted, oops --
But, yeah, well onto a year on and definitely more than a year since I had the initial idea, I have a readable hand-bound copy of a Final Fantasy ttrpg hack in my hands.







As they say, it's not much but it's mine? *lol* It's been a long haul and there were a lot of moments I wasn't sure I'd finish, despite how bare-bones the rules chassis I'm using is; but I'm glad I did it anyway.

...also, I don't think I realized until I looked at that map that the caravan in the northwestern continent has nowhere to actually caravan to.

Maybe the caravan is servicing folks we don't visit X3 There's some way of bodies that aren't the party nosing round and about, I assume, because the faerie and such -- but it's a big continental space, there's bound to be something else there somewhere 83

It's a lot, I figure, like the earlier editions of (A)D&D the game cribs mercilessly from; the published material gives the hints in the skeleton and the writers expect the DM and players to flesh everything out.
